the little joys in life (of a teenager)
1) sitting down, then realising that you have to stand up again to get something, looking around and finding out that the 'something' you're looking for is nearby so you don't have to stand up after all.
2) having no homework on a Friday. (any day of the week is fine too)
3) having a good-hair day. (even early in the morning, when you've just woken up)
4) talking to your bestie for hours on end.
5) when you're walking home under the hot sun and you're thinking,"damn, another 15 minutes to go" and your dad drives past and fetches you home.
6) when you get to the bus stop and the bus arriving thirty seconds later.
7) when the teacher doesn't come for class. (oops.)
8) having an afternoon nap.
9) reading a good book in good lighting.
10) having something nice to look forward to during the weekend.
11) NOT having your period.
12) when it's the end of the month and you realise that you've saved half of your pocket money. (okay i'm dreaming lah, given my appetite.. o.o)
13) going shopping with your parents. :)
14) fridays.
15) sleeping with the aircon on.

haha that was totally random. i came up with the stuff as i went along, so the list might be a little messy but who cares.
i miss ncc :( today i asked huiyi whether she was going for cca. she said yes, and in my heart i was thinking that she's lucky to stil have a cca to go for :( it's not that i dont want to step down or anything (i really do like the time that not having cca has freed up) but i just miss it, argh. oh well. i guess it's part and parcel of life.
i'm getting very frustrated at people who can't pronounce their words properly, especially during assemblies! that's when their jarring mistakes in their pronunciation gets broadcasted to the whole school and seems to echo from the grandstands, which makes their atrocities even more bloody obvious. i hear words like
crisist (crisis, for goodness sake. NO T.)
guidience (it's guiDANCE oh my god. one of the most common words used during assemblies, and unfortunately the most commonly mispronounced word, urgh)
vectals (vectoRs!)
parcitipation (oh man.)
cannot stand it can. not that i'm a pro or something (i still have much to learn, i admit) but i think i'm really becoming very anal over this sort of thing :( help.
need to go for taekwondo now, till then.
