the situation is on a roll.. downhill. like a barrel that's rolling down a steep slope, perhaps leading into a dark chasm of some sorts. everytime it gets stuck somewhere on the slope i can't help but wonder whether it has hit rock bottom, or whether it'll disentangle itself and continue rolling down. so far it hasn't hit rock bottom. yet.

but i'll look on the bright side. once the barrel hits rock bottom it will roll all the way up the cliff again... right? maybe the energy lost while it is rolling down the cliff (k.e. -> heat and sound energy) then dont have enough energy to roll back up the cliff.
