After a long hiatus, I've finally got enough inspiration to blog :)

Rachel, Wilson, Janson and I went to the beach on Tuesday :) It was very... eventful, I would say. After playing volleyball for around 20 minutes, Janson very artfully, albeit accidentally, threw my volleyball up into the tree.

As you can see, the ball is stuck in a very difficult place, something like an inverted tripod.

Janson doing his best to salvage the situation :P

Wilson here just got the tree to marry him :o

Both of them fretting over the ball.

Following this, we decided to throw Rachel's broken umbrella up the tree, which successfully got itself stuck on the tree too. As quoted from Rachel: "It'd be hilarious... if it wasn't happening to us."

We left the ball alone for the time being while we went for a luge ride :D

Four of us before going on the Skyride

They were so afraid of their slippers falling down into the forestry below :P

Sweet pic

CANDID! :D

Timothy insists that this picture looks haunted. :o

We went up to Imbiah Station and looked around in the gift shop :D

With a big nice snowman :)

Camwhores :P

The two boys

I have no pictures of the Luge ride, but it was awesome :D It's a little steep for a ride that lasts less than 5 minutes though. If there was no Student hot deal, I can't imagine paying $10 to go up once. I mean, do they even NEED so much money to maintain the ride?

Check, Luge ride :)

We rented bikes next :D

Us (minus me) with spastic faces outside 7 Eleven

Anyway, it's no joke riding a bike for one hour straight without proper cushioning. My butt was bruised to some degree for TWO DAYS, and that's saying something, considering your behind is the most fleshy part of your body.

We decided to go back for the ball (because I insisted), armed with a 1.5L 100Plus bottle. Almost empty, of course.

...Not only did we NOT manage to get the ball down, we got the BOTTLE stuck up there too. In a VERTICAL position. Yitong was saying that it'll be damn comical if the cleaner manages to get the stuff down, and he'll find 'treasure' - a volleyball, a broken foldable umbrella, and a 100Plus bottle -.-

We went back to Vivo, tired but satisfied :D

Guess what they are mouthing :P

Because Rachel hates Wilson so much.

Because Rachel hates Wilson so much (2).

We had dinner at Long John's cos we were on a budget. Not surprising, considering we spent so much today. After much discussion we concluded that fast food outlets like Long John's will thrive despite the economic crisis.

Girl: Where shall we go for our anniversary darling?
Boy: Honey, I'm broke, shall we go to Mcdonalds' to celebrate our anniversary?
Girl: ...

The guys happily assumed that the girl will agree to eat at Mcdonalds' for the anniversary, while Rachel and I had enough sense to know that the girl would rack her brains for the most convenient excuse to break up with her boyfriend :P

I'm joking, of course.

Facebook for more photos :)

Wed flew by (because time flies while you're having fun), and yesterday night Bryan Val and Jevon came over for Guitar Hero and PINATA MAKING :D First time I ever made a pinata. We named it Mr E_ and rewarded ourselves properly with chocolate hazelnut ice cream afterward :D

Mr Colin Wee, your ego is officially unhealthy, please keep it in check :)

Alright, end of very long blog post, goodnight for now :)

I was just reading the papers.. Lo Hwei Yen :( She was just 28 :( I guess enough has been said about her so just read the papers or watch the news for more info. I can't imagine what her husband is going through.

The world is such an unhappy place. If everyone was considerate, treated each other like fellow humans instead of discriminating against them, let everyone have equal rights, no one would have to fight for them. No one would have to voice their demands the hard way.

Maybe it's just the human nature to be self-centered and to want to be better, to be on higher ground than others. Perhaps they were suppressed for far too long? How would you gauge "too long" then?

Terrorism is wrong. It's bloody childish. But the threats are real. Terrorists are like kids, bawling and rolling around on the floor, trying to embarrass their parents into buying them their desired toy just because they make a scene. But they're screwed up kids. They're kids who kill.

But then again, will just giving in and meeting their demands necessarily be better? It might just encourage this type of behaviour. As soon as the wailing kid's parent hands the toy over to the cashier to pay for it, all the other kids will be making their demands in a similar manner. Which would be disastrous.

No one should resort to violence. Same for war, murder, and other crimes. Family and friends grieve for the deceased. For Ms Lo's case, Singapore grieves.

On the other hand, I guess it's a wake up call for Singaporeans.

We're so apathetic about current affairs; the most we do is just to read the papers and critique from 'above', voicing our opinions to whoever will listen to us.

We hear about bomb blasts in other countries, and all we do is to register a mental note never to go there - "It's a dangerous country!"

We know innocent people are dying everyday, but we never experienced the hurt they feel.

We've become so complacent just sitting at home or bothering our little minds about trivial things like chope-ing seats in a hawker centre. Ms Lo's death really hit home. Singaporeans won't forget her in a hurry. I won't.

Thanks for canceling.

Great, now I've chased away the only person who will listen to me. Slap me silly, somebody, please. Sorry Timothy Sum :(

I suppose none of you out there are willing to be my agony auntie so I'll just pour out my feelings to my keyboard and computer screen.

Pouring your feelings to an inanimate object is so stupid, isn't it. Especially to a computer screen and a keyboard.

I feel stupid. And disappointed.

Maybe it's good not to set my expectations too high. Maybe I deserve what I get.

Gist of today: I got excited about something, thought that everyone would turn up, and they didn't. And I was there waiting like an idiot for the first half an hour. Actually I should have known better than get my hopes too high, I guess.

I should just lock myself at home and play Resident Evil on my Wii console.

Thursday, November 20, 2008

I'm not emo-ing. I just don't feel like sleeping yet so I guess I'll sit here and blog for a little while.

My holidays are.. okay. I haven't touched any holiday homework, so I think I better start now or I'll fail my A's. Training's fine, though I still have a lot to improve on. I currently pose no threat against shooters from other schools. I NEED TO UNLOCK MY GUN SO I CAN START TRAINING EVERYDAY.

Kumon is driving me nuts. Though I have around 9 worksheets left, it's like the longest 9 days of my life. I just can't wait to get it over and done with so I can enjoy butter crab. (courtesy of someone)

I was going to blog about the AC ragging incident but the comments from the general public are so amazingly brainless I don't feel like talking about it anymore. Why don't they check out the degree of ragging in other JCs? If ragging in ACJC causes the public to worry about the 'next generation of leaders', perhaps they should pray to the heavens for the next generation, because ragging is more commonplace than their naive little minds think. Seriously, there are more things to get worked up over.

I don't know what to blog about so I'll just reply tags.

wilson: Surprised? I'm good :P
Beixin: Yup I guess I was just emo-ing lol. Thanks :)
ZL: Balls cancer sounds sick :( You have right, LOL
huiyi: Life's unfair sigh. Anyway thanks for breakfast on Saturday! :)
cong: Haha yeah I guess he's still my brother.. Thanks haha I'll ask you if I want to learn. Balestier is super far though O.o
cynthia: Ah... This is why I love you ms chai :D Have fun in Msia catch up soon honey :)

I'm worried.

The monster is at it again.

He already exceeded his Wii limit of 2 hours, and he fucking insists on continuing, and I bloody want to play. He says he's "going for tuition soon" and I can play when he's gone. Screw that, understand? Firstly he's already overtime, and why do I have to wait for him to go out before I can play? Seriously, he's bloody hopeless. I hope he gets some disease from sitting down in front of the fucking television for so long. Is there such a disease? Buttock cancer anyone?

Why is it that good piano teachers are so hard to find? I go from one crappy teacher to another crappy teacher to another and another and another and why do I even have to freaking learn PIANO.

:(

Disclaimer: A lot of self-pitying bullshit up ahead. If you don't give a damn about how I feel or what I think, do me and yourself a favour and just stop reading.

Feel like a piece of * now. I don't know what I want to do with my life. Seriously, I've really got to do something about this. I've been drifting through the past 17 years not knowing where to go, what to do, where to head next. Bloody hell, I didn't even get to choose my schools myself. Though I can't blame anyone.. I didn't even know what school to choose myself.

Sure, I've been surviving fine; I've been making friends, given the chance to lead, and even been in a relationship. But it's just what Singapore's rice cooker environment is doing to me and a whole load of other people, I presume. I feel like an underachiever. I don't do well enough, I don't score enough A's (or rather I didn't get ANY A's), I don't have enough CCAs, I don't have enough CIP hours, I don't sign up for overseas trips, I don't get offered H3s, etc etc etc, the list goes on forever but I'm really not going to depress myself any further.

It doesn't help that people always commend these high achievers and praise them to the skies. What for? Because they drive themselves so hard, busying around and doing constructive things every breathing minute? Because they can study and can score all A's?

I don't have anything against high achievers. It's just stupid that they get so much recognition for being able to STUDY. If they're nice people, I don't mind. If they're nerds there's a problem. So I'm supposed to coop myself up at home and deny myself of a life?

These people should just go and kick themselves.

Maybe I'm being bitter, but I don't care.

Life is so boring. We're all stuck in the rat race, unable to break free. After birth you enjoy a few years of bliss as a baby and toddler, then you're whisked off to school to study for the next 10(+) years of your life. Then you go to university or you start working. After working for a few years, you discover the existence of somebody who is the love of your life, and then you get married and have children. Then the cycle begins again.

I don't know what to do with my life. It's so boring. I'm boring. Ughh. What will I be when I grow up?

Monday, October 27, 2008

Screw it, I don't even know how to start this blog entry.

The place I call home is beyond salvation. The monster I have for a brother is not talking to my dad, and my mum stays in her room to watch Korean dramas all night, and can't be bothered about me and my siblings. The monster is stupid, petty, unreasonable, and is so impossibly irritating that I find it very difficult to resist using vulgarities. It (the monster) is the bane of my existence.

He bullies my sister. He gets away with it.
He plays computer games, watches TV, plays the Wii, and obviously does not study. He gets away with it.
Shit, he even gets away from hitting my mum.

It's just so damned unfair. My mum doesn't give a flying fuck about him. She has already given up. He can get away with anything he wants, as long as he doesn't cross her path. She doesn't nag when he doesn't brush his teeth or wash his face (yes, he doesn't). He can shout all he want in the car, eat everything in the fridge that is not his, slap my sister all he wants, and my mum wouldn't even care. On the contrary, he gets a new phone. A brand new touch screen phone that costs $600 excluding the plan. And she doesn't scold the monster when he eats my share of sushi.

Goddammit, it's not even about the bloody sushi anymore.

She restricts me like nobody's business. I can't go out late, can't have anyone in my room, forces me to go for Kumon and piano. She questions me on who I go out with, where I go, what time I'll come back.

Isn't the disparity obvious? He's a scumbag, as disgusting as can be, and my mum turns a blind eye to it. She knows he's useless, but she doesn't do anything about it. No rules for him, because he's in too deep. She just ignores him half the time, while he rots away.

I wouldn't mind that much if my mum was more fair. There is a big fucking problem when she ignores all his faults, notices all of mine, and buys him a new fucking phone.

Maybe you guys could come live with my brother one day! :D

-------------

To those guys out there who think that they're so damn desirable: Go screw yourself, seriously. Oh wait, you've probably been doing so everyday since the day you were born, fantasizing about whatever just to inflate your already gi-normous ego. Take a look in the mirror and use your tiny little brain to attempt to comprehend the fact that you're ugly inside out. Usually brains that minuscule can't understand much, but please, do the world a favour and at least try. Strutting around with your head in the clouds is unhealthy. It makes you fat. Which you are, obviously, but since I'm such a nice person, I'll remind you. You're fats disguised as a human being. I don't give a flying f* if you mess around with other prosties, but stay away from my friends.

It's always such a pain in the ass to think of how to start my blog entry. Okay I just realised that I've started it, so what the heck.

I have concluded that I have either 1) gotten rid of my allergy to rice crispies 2) am not allergic to rice crispies. I ate some today and didn't get rashes :D

PW sucks. I want to get on with training. I want to hold my pistol again. I want to stop lazing around and do something about my life. I think I'm really screwed up. I think PAE 1SD2 is cool. I love Carl's Jr. I'm going to Malaysia tomorrow (or more acccurately, today) to have a short holiday with my family. I want to go on a cruise. I want to stop lazing around and do something about my life (oh, I said that before)

Sheesh. I'm so messed up.

Thanks to all who tagged *hugs* loves :)

I'm currently having a full-blown hives attack. In case you guys don't know how it looks like, here it is. This picture is obviously not taken by me. Been having these attacks from time to time.. And I don't even know what the hell I'm allergic to. I consumed a nachos cheese bun from Breadtalk, butterscotch chip and pecan cookies from Famous Amos, chicken rice, a barley drink and a fruit platter (oranges, purple jelly and plum). Nothing out of the ordinary :( I wonder why. I'm itching like crazy :( I'm glad I'm at home so I don't make a scene out of myself. It really is gross shit. Now I'm trying to apply calamaine lotion to ease the itching :(

Anyway I shall stop ranting on and on about disgusting rashes. PW is becoming a pain in the ass. I mean it's okay if you do a few periods per day, but hours on end? It'd be the same for all other subjects. This extremely boring situation is further exacerbated by the presence of some very irritating people. They get on my nerves more than PW. Some surprisingly selfish and stubborn souls sicken me.

I suppose I'm one screwed up person :(

Anyway thanks people for all the birthday gifts and well-wishes :D on facebook sms face to face whatever :) and the presents too :D I think I feel most loved when I receive gifts so thank you people :) loves.

I'm going to do my PW background now bye :)

Today I had the unfortunate experience of sitting beside someone with extremely unbearable body odour. This old man wearing a sleeveless top just plonked himself into the seat next to me without much concern for the foul air I was breathing in. The bus had so many available seats and he had to sit next to me - how lucky. And I feel nauseous when I smell something really bad.

My birthday is in 24 hours and I have to say that I'm a little apprehensive about growing older. I know people age day-by-day, but it's the the official feel of your birthday you know? You're suddenly legally (insert your age here). Nobody cares whether you're 16 years and 364 days old but they care when you're 17 years old. Sigh never mind forget it.

I'm going to sleep now goodnight guys.

Brain Drain

Lame jokes: Jokes that irritate people because the answer is totally random and they have absolutely no chance of getting it right

Econs paper tomorrow, and I have totally zero hope of passing my maths (if I don't buck up now) which explains why I'm experiencing severe brain drain right now. I cna't eevn bolg porperly. Wow.

Went for Mr Forrest Lim's wake yesterday with mixed feelings, namely apprehension, sympathy and confusion. It was my first time being at a teacher's wake (and I do hope I'll never have to attend one again) and I'm still a little traumatized by the whole thing - it's just too surreal and I can't bring myself to believe it. I have no pictures of it due to obvious reasons.

His cousin explained to us about the cause of his death and I think it was the first time all of us actually understood what he was going through - why he tends to speak so slowly and how he actually felt everytime he stepped into an air-conditioned room (just for our sake, I might add). And all the times we made him angry, I had no idea we were aggravating his condition.

Then our 'tour guide' told us that he 'loved his students' and said we were 'good boys and girls'.

I am assuming he didn't tell us about his syndrome because he didn't want us to worry. Which makes me kinda pissed off because he totally knew he was weak but yet he kept pushing himself and working so hard just so we could get an 'A' for our PW. He didn't even get to see our I&R.. :'(

According to his cousin, his illness was a 'family curse' and would be passed down to the sons in the bloodline. And I am assuming that's why he didn't get married...

On a brighter note, I guess death put an end to his suffering (morphine...!! wth?).

Thank you Mr Lim, for everything you've done for us, for marking our WRs so conscientiously and putting in the effort to judge our OPs before our prelims. We really appreciate it. Sorry for all the times we made you pissed off or angry because we were showing you slipshod work. May you rest in peace.

Discrimination

Apparently there is some discrimination going on in the world of sports goods, shoes in particular. Sizes for Adidas and Nike footwear never go above 9.0 for ladies with some exceptions. Thus, shoes with relatively more attractive designs are limited only to women whose feet are small enough, while the rest have to choose from the not-so-pretty designs. So, women with large feet have to wear men's shoes, is it?

Excuse me, if I am not mistaken, the era when women in China used to bind their feet is, uh, over? This is not Cinderella hor, tall women with large feet exist! Tall women with small feet are horrendously so not balanced.

Atrocious. (Janson don't laugh at me please)

I&R is super irritating. You have to complete it, but it gets pushed to the back of your mind 'cos you can't really be bothered about it with exams starting so soon and besides it isn't even counted anyway (I think), but it stays there and nags relentlessly at you nonetheless. I mean, I love Beatrice Choong, but really, PW is pointless.

Anyway good luck for promos everyone. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger :)

Superheroes and Underwear

Sorry I haven't been posting for so long ( thanks for all the tags lovelies I do read them, even if I don't reply them :) )

Did I mention that I'm ending Kumon next month? :D

An eventful weekend spent mugging and talking about superheroes and their not-so-intimate/private wear.

Why does Superman wear such an inconspicuous 'inner wear' on the outside?
1) To attract attention to his crotch area, lah!
2) Sponsored by, thus must endorse Nike/ Adidas/ (some company prolific in its marketing and publicity efforts)
3) Superheroes need to be distinguishable from the normal human being, thus have to deviate from normal human behaviour of keeping inner wear in, thus have to abnormally do what they do

Then Valerie said that in the real Superman movie, the producers had to digitally enhance 'dehance' the size of his *ahem* 'cos it was too large. :o All women would be happier if that applied to them too..

So we went on to Batman (whom we think exudes more 'cool' because he has opted for more indistinguishable underwear), Spiderman (whom does not wear any attention-grabbing inner wear on the outside but simultaneously shows his lack of sponsors, thus does not need to endorse), Wonder Woman (and wondered why she didn't wear her _ on the outside as well, since superheroes have a propensity of doing that) and even the Incredibles (who ALL wear a combination of red and black)

I personally think superheroes who wear their inner wear on the outside are quite dumb, I mean when they send it to the laundry they'll have to wash the whole suit instead of just the inner wear. Then I was opposed why an indignant one who claimed, "They wear on the inside also lah!"

Okay lor, fine.

I just realised that this blog post is utterly pointless, but since I've already typed it out..

Good luck for promos everyone :)

I'm really sorry for not blogging for so long ( please still come to my blog :( )

It's been crazy nowadays - shooting training 4 times a week, the usual burden of Kumon, homework. And having my piano exam in 5 days time is not helping one bit. Currently my face looks like the surface of the moon. If anyone wants to help, please get me a tube of Oxy5 (or Oxy10; my outbreak is really massive) or bring me for a facial (No, I'm just joking)

So now - just to wallow in self-pity for a bit and for dumb people who don't understand what the above paragraph meant - I will provide you with my daily schedule.

6:20 Wake up
6:20 - 6:45 Prepare for school
7:25 Reach school (yes, 7:25)
7:50 - 4:30 School (Kumon every free period)
4:30 - 8:00 Shooting Training
9:00 Reach home and practise piano like mad
12:00 Go to bed

If you have been an observant reader who has fully comprehended what I have just typed, you will notice - oh yay - that I have no time for homework. Which is why I am still Math tutorial 15, doing chemistry and economics homework in class, and still have not finished reading both Great Expectations and Herland.

I am stressed. I am very stressed.

At this juncture though I wish very dearly to post some pictures so you readers can be spared from a mundane, all-text blog, it is 11:34 and I have not showered. Or eaten my dinner. So all you dear taggers must wait till the next entry for my reply - my apologies :(

After two days of trying to boycott the school stalls in the canteen by bringing biscuits to school, I am officially sick (sore throat and fever). Not only that, I also ate two meals today in school :( Sigh. Then, as though the canteen stall tenders were taking revenge against me,

1) The omelette stall ran out of noodles AND rice
2) The chicken rice stall ran out of porridge
3) Yong tau foo was depleted, lacking severely in variety (as usual)
4) Indian stall was clearing up, with only two plain pratas left for sale

Sigh. I hate expensive canteen food. :(

Sometimes I wonder about anti-dandruff shampoos and how they actually work.

Do they put white glue into the shampoo so that your dandruff sticks to your head instead of dropping off?

Or does your scalp constrict so the dandruff cannot escape?

:x

Haven't blogged in quite some time..

Went for a movie & dinner with Yixue on Monday :D Kungfu Panda is a good movie okay, don't shun animation films just 'cause they're animation films; some are good :D Can you imagine the effort put in just to make a animation movie? Have to draw out the different frames, animate, time the amount of time the character's mouth moves, record the voices of the different actors/actresses, etc etc etc. Woah. We were like sitting through the credits and I was commenting on the number of people that are involved in a movie.

Anyway it was good, I laughed throughout :D &Jap-style pasta is not bad :D though I don't really know where the jap part comes in.. seems like normal pasta to me.

Today I went to catch Chronicles of Narnia at 1045am in the morning. I kid you not. Huiyi is nuts :o LOL okay I was joking Neo don't kill me it was quite a good movie but I can sense that a lot of scenes were removed from the movie. Quite a few leaps in logic too but overall it's good :D Prince Caspian is so Hot, I swear.

Did a bit of chem afterwards with Huiyi, Junqi, Leena and Sheena. Zzz I've a phobia of the JE library already lah, after last year's mugging for O levels. What with going there at 955am in the morning just to run into the library and chope a table for the rest of the day till dinnertime, and smuggling food, bubble tea, Fruit Tree Freah aloe vera drink (one whole carton) and the like. zzz.

Post replies :)

it's bittersweet for you isn't it

we collide; that's all there is to it. 'i love you' - you say you mean it, but do you really?

All i wanted was to enjoy myself. Isn't that what a relationship should be about? But recently it's just rocky and when we quarrel you just give in cos 'you're always right' when you just couldn't be bothered to quarrel anymore.

All the times you told me to understand your insecurity you were just telling me to control myself and not socialise too much. but it's not like i can help it; I'm just being me.

You take me too seriously when I'm just joking &disheartenment sets in when i see the look on your face and it just kills the happiness in me.

Our priorities don't tally; I want to spend more time doing the things I'm supposed to do right now.

Besides, we're only 17. There's still a long way to go.

Shopping today with Yi Tong was fruitful :D

We were on a really really tight budget, me with $38 :( and Yi Tong with $50 (part of it to buy a blazer with) I totally looked like a reporter cos I was busy jotting down the names of the nice shops that we visited. We're going back for more after I get my $600!

Anyway we went to Far East and we were mainly looking at the nice T-shirts. Which is not really advisable in a sense.. Cos T-shirts are.. Casual? Aiyah but I think me and Yi Tong are quite T-shirty so.

Was in desperate need for shoes so I bought a pair that looks quite nice but it's more for formal occasions. And I bought this shirt that I fell for at first sight :P which I regretted afterwards, cos it's too small for me.

But then I thought, if people can wear interesting clothes like ill-fitting jeans that put their buttcracks on public exhibition, or create fashion trends like wearing a cap when not actually WEARING it (if you get when I mean) then I most definitely can wear a tight shirt.

Free size is a lousy excuse for shops that only bother to sell the size that the average person wears. Damn.

& I love Gelare (sheet I can't get the 'e' to have that funny thing on top) waffles on Tuesdays :D

[edit] Huiyi said I'm bimbotic so I removed a certain part of my entry :p

Random Post

my mum is a very price elastic consumer.

Nowadays there are a lot of horrid mosquitoes that bite all over my legs and leave a stupid mark :( Like making me scratch like crazy is not enough; they still have to uglify me!!!!!

When the holidays start I'll have a 'Get-my-life/room/homework/everything-in-order day' where I will go into a massive cleaning and rubbish throwing frenzy and nobody will be able t stop me!! HAHAHA. Seriously man, my room is in disarray. I'm living in a pigsty :( Everyone should clean up their room during the holidays! Because during Chinese New Year everyone will be so excited buying new clothes and collecting angpows no one will be in the mood for spring cleaning D: so please clean up during the holidays!

Ivory Heights is having a resident flea market :x wonder who will drop by.

My wardrobe is... forget it. I'm so going for retail therapy. Who's willing to come with me? :(

I have 75 cents in my wallet. Somebody asked me for 80cents that day and I was very depressed cos I saw a 50c coin and 20c coin + another small random coin. I thought it was a 10c coin.but it turned out to be a 5c coin. :( Today I went to photocopy my piano scores. It cost 80c. Then I felt sad again cos I only had 75c.

Yay Vesak Day :D

feel like i'm lost in a maze of some sort.

going either route might totally ruin my chances of going to the other maybe if i apply economics it'll make more sense to me, you know, marginal cost, but seriously i don't even know which is the better option,

and what should i do with my time, it's so hard to schedule everything.

y'know when something is poisoned you gotta find the antidote it's common sense yes but then i ask myself do i really wanna do that?

and it's no use talking to different people i just find myself oscillating between the two unknowns; two annoying mystery bags that are just waiting to drop the bomb on me

i can't think properly now i'm just stammering and blunderbussing my way through this whether or not i trample on a few pretty wildflowers. can't face this, and there's nothing anyone can do about it so don't bother trying

happy birthday jasmine my bestie who has forgotten me

Rocky season
would you rather have rocks or rain?
either way
storm's overhead
and i've got no umbrella

i'm stepping in all the wrong places
reactions don't feed me
there's something on my face that isn't there

malaise looms

the weather will be better tomorrow
but for now
i'm sheltered by an umbrella indoors

That was cryptic :)

I feel fat and sickly ughh

Today is a bad day.

- Two 198 buses refused to stop for me causing me to be marginally late thus landing me a spot in dc
- Some very nice teacher refused to let me skip her very unimportant briefing, making me reschedule DC as well as to skip training, only to go for the briefing and hear her say, "Please fill in your friend's name if you know that they are confirm coming." Is that double standard or what?
- Interesting bitter woman who stared at me like I was vermin when I asked her about the very nice teacher's name
- Screwed up weather which is doing nuts for my immune system

I think Herland is bringing out the feminist in me.

Psst.. I'm secretly a bimbo! :O

Something about waking up in the morning meddles with your judgment and makes you come up with the most absurd conclusions. Like when I have the luxury of tying my hair in the morning I'll happily conclude that it looks fine. Then when I go to school, that's when the truth hits me - that my hair is horrendously messy o.o

And while running to school today I dropped my badge :( Dharshini did too lol.

Watched a tennis match today; learnt a lot more about tennis :p thanks Wilson! &congrats :)

I'll take a rest now gdnitey.

I just met the bane of my existence today.

Some old hag by the surname of Gan, who wears a CHECKERED SHIRT, jeans and sports shoes to teach PIANO.

1) When I was stumbling with my notes, she condescendingly asked if I had the same teacher from Grade 1-3.

2) She left the room halfway, telling me to practise on my own.

3) She BURPED and YAWNED throughout.

4) She told me, "Wa, hao lei ah" (I'm so tired) during the lesson.

5) She can't even play the piano; she plays with straightened fingers.

6) She can't sight-read for nuts, played two bars and gave up, and told me to practise until the part where she stopped.

7) Everytime I played a note wrongly she'd arrogantly say the letter of the correct note.

8) She didn't even teach me anything, just ran through the notes.

9) She freaking said,"Fingering for scales doesn't matter lah, just need to play smoothly."

10) She speaks in Chinese in a crude and gangsterly way.

11) She kept checking her phone when I was in the room.

12) It was three minutes before the end of the lesson, and she went,"Still got three minutes.. We shall do the next piece." (which i haven't practised before) Then she played it once for me, and told me to play. After I played like one bar, she checked her phone and said to me, "Okay, time's up, see you next week." I didn't even get to practise the whole line.

Thanks bitch, you just made my day. Don't ever go to C_ Music School; you'll just waste your time. I really have to congratulate myself for surviving 45 minutes in the same room, breathing the same air as her.

Been seeing nice teachers for so long, it's enormously shocking to meet a shitty one.

Today sucked big time :(

Had swim PE (was very enjoyable, but to change clothes and shower after that wasn't) followed by GSC. The first thing the teacher said was that some students didn't do their 'jianbao' properly, choosing the wrong article. And the first article she chose to pinpoint was my article. Hello, I'm already giving her face by doing the bloody article. You think it's very easy to find an article is it? Is there so much news for us to write about? I'm so going to drop GSC. Bloody subject. I can't even do well in it lor, continue for what. Take back my results, fail or barely pass, very nice is it. I'm never going to do well in chinese and it's a fact.

During GP, Mrs Sui was passing around seven million newspaper articles for the class to refer to. Towards the end of the lesson Amelia passed me this form that I had to fill up and pass it back to her. But I thought I still had to pass it on to the next person, so I dumped it on Cynthia's table. Think it got mixed up with all the stupid articles and now it's with Mrs Sui.

During chem Amelia was feeling so down my heart broke so many times to see her cry :( I owe Wilson one for making him run up all the way back to the GP classroom to check if it was there. Thanks ah. :\

To make things worse I freaking got scolded for it lor. Went to find _ after school, told her that i lost the form and she totally lost it (pun intended). She accused me of doing it on purpose, being all sarcastic and saying that it was ridiculous for it to have disappeared in thin air. What the hell, I have better things to do than to make her pathetic existence miserable, thank you very much. And there I was, calmly telling her that I did not do it on purpose, and it was an accident that I misplaced it. Then she demanded a letter of apology of some sort, a very long one. At this juncture I have absolutely no comments on her farfetchedness.

But it did take a bit of effort to not cry, had to be strong for Amelia who was already feeling ultra horrible.

I used to have respect for _, because of the fact that she's a t_. I thought, alright, so what if she talks like that? We shouldn't be mean to her just because of the way she speaks. Now I realise why the rest hate her so much. It's her bloody attitude. Only a bitter woman like her would be be overly cautious, ever suspecting, fearing that somebody might attack from behind. The way she handles adminstrative matters is inefficient and unnecessarily meticulous. She cannot do two things at once, telling those who approach her to go away until she completes her task. I shall not comment on her dress sense. _ should seriously take a look in the mirror; if she hates her job so bloody much she should just quit and get a life. I pity her, because she can never look on the bright side and trust anybody. What a sad life she leads.

And it has come to my attention that the very anal adminstrative manager, Shitbag Will, in RVHS is still there, making his life and everybody else's life miserable. He should just shoot himself. Yitong went back to RV today, and after a hard day of filling in forms and rejected requests for the stupid NCC laundry money, she had to face the ultimate asshole who leads an equally miserable life as _. He doused her in sarcasm, treating her like an insignificant nobody. Utterly anal and obnoxious. Similarly if he hates his job so much he should just quit his job and get a life.

OHMYGOD maybe _ and Shitbag Will are married to each other. O.O

Sue me for speaking my mind, I'm already a graduate.

Sorry I haven't blogged for so long, been catching up on work lately. I'm stuck at home now cos I'm sick :( down with a stupid virus that causes your throat to be inflammed. I feel so miserable now :( Give me a hug people.

On a heavier lighter note, Fun-O-Rama the ultimate money-sucker funfair is coming up and I've already killed seven million brain cells trying to settle JUST the food stall. Thank you very much la, after Fun-o-rama I'm so going to wash my hands off anything regarding doing saikang for the school. I need a break, seriously :(

PLEASE BUY TICKETS FROM ME :(

I still haven't found a CCA. I'm such a loser.

I feel stupid all of the sudden. Does absence really make the heart grow fonder? Maybe it's just fate. I'll never be in the same school as you again. Did I not try hard enough? Perhaps I'm being punished for not doing just that. This is all damn screwed please remind me to listen t you in future.

Monday, March 10, 2008

WHY THE HECK DOES 'DSA' EXIST.

See lah, now thanks to you assholes, I can't find a bloody CCA! I don't even dare to go for the different CCA tryouts cos I feel too inexperienced to be there.. Does being good at a sport or a performing art automatically earn you a place in a good JC? :(

Life is unfair :(

Anyway just to share some of my random thoughts with you people..

Don't you wonder sometimes, is everyone is born with the necessary talents and environment, fated to have a particular job? For example, A has 100% talent for medicine. But he does not go into medicine. Instead he chooses to be an engineer. B, on the contrary, has only 50% of talent for medicine but he chooses to be a doctor. Wouldn't the world be a better, more efficient place if everyone is in the profession they're most talented to be in? :x

Yeah okay I know that's rubbish cos everyone has interests I guess.

And don't you sometimes feel as though you have a hidden talent tucked away in some part of you, but you never had the chance to fully develop it?

Oh well. will continue ranting another day. Goodnight!

Sometimes some people just like to screw your life up real bad. And you can't do anything about it.

People, please shut up about your measly angbao money. Because you'll never guess how much I got.

Spent three days in Ipoh visiting relatives, and got around 8 angbaos in total. How much did I get? $34. In bloody RINGGIT. To call that pathetic is a serious understatement. I bet there's no one out there with less angbao money than me. If there are, tell me and I'll give you my $16 Sing bucks.

Please get well soon :(

Clement: think you got me all wrong; I did not scream at the cadets, and did not vent my anger on them like I said I would. Besides this is my blog so I'm allowed t post my feelings, no? I believe I have my reasons for feeling and acting the way I did, and it's in the past so just forget it. We're still cool, yes? :)

Something amazing happened yesterday.

Hasiff, my fellow s5 wildcat from CLT course, was actually from my Camp Feast platoon and it never occurred to me once until yesterday.

Chee Meng just happened to give both of us the booklet, and I just happened to flip to that particular page with the 'Cannibal King' song on it. Hasiff start singing it, and then when he ended he said he performed this for his Camp Feast. I was stunned, because I remember I performed this for Camp Feast too. Then we found out that not only were we in the same Camp Feast, we were in the same platoon and even took the Paintball photo together!

I was totally stunned. It's so amazing, cos there are so many 'if's. If we decided not to sign up for clt course, if we didn't end up in the same platoon, if we didn't sign up for Camp Feast, if I didn't become his APC, if there were no extra Camp Feast booklets, if i didn't flip to that particular page, if Hasiff didn't bother to start singing that song, we might still be in the dark!

Okay I shall stop ranting.

I am seriously lagging behind in school. I just skipped school for five days straight.

Last Wednesday - Sick
Last Thursday - Results
Monday &Tuesday - Camp Feast
Today - OVERSLEPT :x

My form teacher like called me and scolded me for skipping so many days of school :( Sigh. Guess I really have to go to school tomorrow then. But I have IMT :( SIAN SIAN SIAN SIAN SIAN. Later have to find the HOD again. WTH. SIAN.

Today went out with Mr Performer for NJ Talentime to shop for clothes :) Finally after going to so many locations did he get the outfit ready. What a picky person he is. :x

Okay I gtg prepare my precious uniform. Bye humans.

They say a picture speaks a thousand words.

So.. There you go! Only if you're interested. I dont think I'll have the time to blog about the trip anytime soon so you guys should go see the pictures first. Go see! I had hell uploading them.

> Taiwan Trip Pictures
Have had a lot on my mind lately, but no time to blog about it so I just ended up ranting to my friends. Not that I mind, really.

Finally have the time to blog :D Would just like to comment on _ :)

_ people are really friendly :) Really gentlemanly and welcoming. Heck, being an RV-ian, I feel so at home! _ welcomes RV-ians with open arms :) They say RV-ians add on to the whole english speaking environment. They never speak chinese, but they don't ostracize the Nanhua and RV-ians AT ALL :) In fact, I feel so comfortable speaking Mandarin with them. Woot, I love it here.

The _ guys, especially. Totally no MCP-ishness about them. They'll talk to anyone and everyone. Really charming, the whole lot. I enjoy their company VERY much :)

Over here, the girls are really nice too :) Very humble, never acting pretty. They bring bags with no brands, and never slang when they speak. They will never look down on people, no matter how well-off they are. Really like them and can click so well with them.

Though they don't speak chinese, they still embrace their chinese culture very much, and practise it everyday by doing chinese assessment books at home. Hence they'll never look down RV-ians, and when RV-ians speak chinese they'll never make a fuss. They find it totally normal :)

Of course they should, since they're chinese!

--

They say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Hence if you can't catch this heavy overdose of it, then you must be really dense :)

I miss RV so much :(

Alright, now that that's out of me, I feel so much better :) In case you're wondering why I have the luxury of time to blog in the late morning, it's because I can't stand another moment at _ any longer I'm happily stuck at home, sick, one day before the release of The Results.

OMG.

Good luck, guys. Must wish really hard. Remember my eyelash thing! :D

*HUGS ALL RV-IANS*

Hello people I am lazy to upload Taiwan pics.

I think ACJC's orientation is the the best, so it's not true that the grass is always greener on the other side. On campfire night, the spirit was there, I could feel it. :)

Anyway, crashing is fun :D but it takes guts! Not for 'clammy' people (humji) Xinhang and Leena, I'm so not talking about you guys, thanks for pangsehing uh. Lol. No lah, joking, no offence really.

Yep so I crashed 3 JCs :) Which JCs have YOU crashed?
